　　連詞有：as, as if/ as though

　　(1)as引導(dǎo)的方式狀語(yǔ)從句， 意為"以……方式;如同……那樣"，從句有時(shí)是省略句。如：

　　Do as I say. 要照我說(shuō)的做。

　　I did just as you told me. 我正是照你說(shuō)的辦的。

　　Air is to man as water is to fish. 空氣之于人猶如水之于魚(yú)。

　　(2)as if/as though引導(dǎo)的方式狀語(yǔ)從句

　　as if和as though的用法相同，都作"好像，仿佛"解。如：

　　二者引導(dǎo)的狀語(yǔ)從句往往用虛擬語(yǔ)氣，表示與事實(shí)相反。as if比as though更為常用。但也可用陳述語(yǔ)氣，表示所說(shuō)的情況是事實(shí)或?qū)崿F(xiàn)的可能性較大。如：

　　They looked at me as if , as though I were mad.

　　他們瞧著我好像我發(fā)瘋了似的。

　　They look as if/as though they know each other.

　　他們看來(lái)好像互相認(rèn)識(shí)。

　　2、What’s the best clothes store in town 城里的的服裝店是哪家?

　　I think Miller’s is the best. (否定句)

　　I don’t think Miller’s is the best. 我覺(jué)得米勒的服裝店(不)是的。

　　①此句中best 是good 的級(jí)形式，其前應(yīng)加定冠詞the。

　?、趇n town 在城鎮(zhèn)，town前加不加任何冠詞或修飾成分。in the city 在城市， in the country在鄉(xiāng)村;在農(nóng)村?！　ity/country 前加定冠詞the。例如：

　　Do you like living in town or in the city?你喜歡住在城鎮(zhèn)還是住在城市里?

　　③此句中 Miller’s 是名詞所有格的形式，表示場(chǎng)所、店鋪等意義。例如：

　　the barber’s 理發(fā)店 the doctor’s 診所 my uncle’s 我叔叔家

　　④clothes 本身是復(fù)數(shù)形式，后面動(dòng)詞應(yīng)用復(fù)數(shù)。Clothing 是復(fù)合名詞，衣服的總稱(chēng)，沒(méi)有復(fù)數(shù)形式，后面動(dòng)詞應(yīng)用單數(shù)。
